OCEANO

Oceano is the residence built in Tulum, Mexico, by Ferreri Costruzioni with the project of Quadri – Valenzano Architects Studio. All the housing solutions, in addition to enjoying an elegant common area with swimming pool, pool bar, garden with sunbathing areas and barbecue, offer a private mini-pool located externally in the reserved green spaces as well as on the terraces and in the penthouses. Each apartment is also equipped with a parking space located on the front of the building and the use of a bike rack; it should not be forgotten that the whole area of ​​Aldea Zama is endowed with beautiful cycle paths immersed in nature that reach the nearby beaches. The building stands out for an engineering solution of foundations and oversized beams to withstand loads higher than the norm and withstand atmospheric phenomena.

8 APARTMENTS AND A PENTAHOUSE

Oceano is characterized by a wide use of pretreated wood covering and suitable for long exposures to atmospheric agents. A system of “natural cross-flow ventilation” of the facades, minimizes the phenomena of condensation and degradation of materials, ensuring the most appropriate heat exchange at various times of the day. Furthermore, adequate dehumidification will be ensured by a state-of-the-art inverter air conditioning system positioned on the roof in order to minimize noise.

LOW ENERGETIC IMPACT

Considering the large glass surfaces, much effort has been placed in the solutions of metal doors and windows with low-emissivity PVB laminated glass to reduce the impact of UV rays. The sanitary system then enjoys a doubled accumulation of 10,000 liters, properly treated and with water softener.
Even the electrical environment was conceived for a low economic impact thanks to the use of LED lighting bodies. All the systems are managed by an electrical panel of relevance for each apartment and can also be controlled remotely, thanks to small optional devices such as telephone dialers, burglar alarms and remote surveillance cameras.
